Accident details, anyone?

I am looking at a 1994 Land Rover Defender 90 Soft Top, yellow #1827 Vin#SALDV2284RA946796.
In the CarFax, it say it was in an accident 10/26/2005 in VA. My question is.... Does anyone know details on accident??. Asking $34k... It is in great condition, drives great, 82k miles.. removable fiberglass top, and soft top. New tires.... Just not sure what to take from the accident, how serious it was or minor. If anyone can help, Thanks.

You need to inspect it or get an inspection to see if you can find any damage. It could have been a light damage, fender bender, to something really bad. You might be able to get a forum member to look at it for you if somebody is close. Or give some more details on the truck here and a forum member may know about the truck?

This briefly was listed in eBay for "buy it now" in the low $20s. I called and the PO said the price was a typo, and he wanted $28k. The relist is above and explains the damage (tree through the grill and radiator). It was a multiple (7?) Rover family in Charlottesville, VA. Said that for all maintenance, even oil changes, it was hauled off in a car carrier to Land Rover Alexandria (good 2 hours away). They changed to a dealer in NC last year. Call the service department at LR Alexandria. Sounds if they worked on it for 10 years or more.

Listing is over but eBay listing says stick went through radiator.

Not sure why there would be an accident report for radiator puncture. It's an odd thing to put on the record, given the apparent relative cost of the repair vs deductible, etc. it's just interesting if anything else.

You guys know your stuff. Looking at pics from ebay listing... looks like the right one. When I looked at it, I did notice that the front grill looked new and the paint didn't match perfect. But like one of you said, if it was just a stick through radiator, why an accident report? It is for sale at a land rover dealership in wilmington, nc. I will cotinue to search, But I will also keep up with this discussion,as you have given so much info in a short period of time, THANKS

$34K for a 94, with 82K seems like a lot...especially with an accident on it's record.
