Acceleration Wiper Issue

I know this has been covered in the past, so if someone can point me to the thread i would appreciate it.

I have replaced the spindles and wiper boxes, but i still have issues with wiper slack. It only happens when my foot is on the gas, however. I remember seeing something about acceleration-linked issues with wipers, and couldn't find the thread when i searched. I assume it just means i need to replace the motor, but before i ordered one, wanted to confirm.

Thanks

But really you need to check for voltage drop, battery dead? alt working? check the wiper motor with a wire from the battery to see if it works better. the switch could be gummed up and on its last legs.

Don't know if anybody remembers what a Reliant supervan III is, but I had one that the wiper motor packed up on the Motorway in Manchester I tried the string thing, does not work. Not nice having no wipers going flat out at 45mph in the rain (pissing down)

"acceleration-linked wiper issues" = they only go out of normal range when your foot is on the accelerator.

Thanks John

I'll check that out. I can't think of anything else that might cause the issue. I didn't even notice that the issue was linked to power until i had already replaced pretty much everything else (wheelboxes, spindles, park switch, etc.)
