Wink A/C Part Question.

Hello, everyone..well I'm now the proud owner of my first D90 SW. Couple of questions...On the far right of the a/c assembly in the passenger area. there is a square piece of plastic which covers the a/c electrical connectors...my rover parts guy couldn't find the part and mine looks like it got hit with a hammer. Also, does the fuel in the tanks slosh around and cause the meter to swing all over(like there are no baffles in the tank)
thanks...jeff

As far as that part goes you may have a real hard time finding it, one of the other guys on the forum has been looking for a plastic part for over a year now and still no luck finding it. The problem is the system is after market. But you may get lucky and find one in a wrecked 90.

The fuel gauge on all of them does that, and yes it's from the fuel sloshing around, I see about a 1/2 tank swing in mine.

Edit: Oh yeah, welcome to the Forum!

I find that hard right turns make my gas needle go to empty, kinda fun to watch. As far as the AC is cobncerned you might could try George At Rovers Down South he has a ton of Rover stuff and I think Rovers North would be a good choice, they are selling AC systems that being said I have gotten obscure items from them....... good luck and welcome aboard this site is a wealth of information.
