Talking A/C Condensor 1994 NAS D90

Need help. I shreaded my 1994 A/C Condesnor while removing. Unable to repair it. Does anyone know if...

1. Can you use a condensor from a different year for example, 1993, 1997 models

2. Has anyone ever tried and was sucessful using a condensor from another vehicle maker for example, using a jeep A/C condensor or something from another type of vehicle or RR/Disco?

3. I leave in PA where we get searing hot weather and ultra humidity while it is raining and I think I would like my A/C but maybe I should bag it and tear the thing out...thoughts?

Thanks in advance this group has always been helpful...

I would ...assume... that you could use one from a Disco or RR.

Jason,

Post up a picture of the one you have and I will dig through to try to match it up.

I need a new compressor for my range rover too, and I was given the recommendation of this place by someone in our local club:

Attached are pictures of the front, back and labels that I could find on the condensor. Also are pictures of the fitting that is still intact as well as the one that I sheared off.

Follow-up Post:

Thanks Jeff, I checked their web site and sent an email.. did not see any condensors but you never know.

I am thinking I could cross over a condensor but have not gotten any feedback...actually not getting a whole lot of attention on this one...I thought I would. Do you think If I promised to post naked pictures of ex-girlfriends then people will start looking at this thread?

That is very different than my 1993. I went out (in the rain) and looked at my 1995 and the 95 looks like it would work if the fittings are the same.

Ron, Thanks for looking at it (in the rain) I did get a message back from A-Air sales dept. They sell condensors and the salesmen said that I should be able to cross over a condensor and make it work. Plus if its fittings I need I can try the hydraulics shop to make something. ? still looking...

That sounds like a plan. There is nothing magical about that condensor that I can see.

Still need a 94 Wynn's AC Condensor

In addition to still not being able to find a 94 Wynn's AC condensor or compatible I recently had these made to replace my oil coller lines from my local hydraulic shop. I would have purchased them from ECR ( who I owe a ton of thanks to for the ideas) but I did not have a lot of money to spend on the replacement. Thought I would share...
