A/C Blower motor

Anyone know how to get this out? Its the blower motor for the dealer installed AC unit. I want to fix the mounts but can't get it out of my truck.

The two halves of the blower motor housing separate.. But you have to pull the ac unit out of the car to get to it..and there is no mounts persay.. What makes you think it needs the mounts changing..??

When you say that i need to pull the unit out of the car, are you saying the whole unit as in discharge and remove even the evaporator, or just the plastic parts?

The blower motor was only attached by two screws; one in each lower corner. Recently one corner has crumpled off and the motor is hung by only one screw. I got it wedged back up there, but I want to take the blower out, fit the plastic, and remount it in a secure fashion.

So is this a claim shell of sorts with the blower making up one half?

Yes.. Discharge and remove complete assy...that's the easiest way to make sure you don't break the housing etc and have to replace the whole unit.. Also that way you can test the unit by powering up the fan assy before you put it back in the vehicle..

Dude don't yank anything out!! I had the same thing happen to mine (whole blower was kicked off). I glued it back on with this stuff. Handles the vibrations like a champ!! Click image for larger version

Grape man, it's all about grape or "purple flavor" depending on your geography.

I didn't know they still made Hubba Bubba? If I can find any I'll try cherry as I don't like grape.

Registry
If you remember "Tidal Wave" bubble gum, with the liquid center, you'll have two part epoxy mixing as you chew! ;-)
