97 Wagon Numbering

I am looking right now at yet another wagon and the owner sent me a photo of the plaque on the right rear which usually has the numbering of the vehicle. I know the 95 Wagons had special numbering but this 97 has SW0033 stamped on it. I wasn't sure if this is correct or if all the 97 Wagons had SW stamped on their plaques. Probably a stupid question with an obvious answer but just curious.

My truck has the SW stamped on it along with the number. I've seen 97's with and without the SW stamped on it. I've also seen some different fonts with the numbering. Does anyone know if there is any rhyme or reason to how they numbered the plaques?

My '97 is number 2221 without the "SW".

Interesting that yours is the 2400 number range and does have the SW.
