'97 speedo repair

Does anyone out there know of a place that will repair the problematic digital odometer scramble. I'd like to fix my original so that the millage will be actual.

+1 on North Hollywood Speedometer.

I gave them the stock speedometer from my truck which had crapped out and a VDO programmable. They swapped the gauge faces and set the odometer on the programmable and now it is cosmetically indistinguishable from the stock one.

Do a quick search on the site as well, there's a lot of information. I had the same issue a couple of months back. It hasn't happened again though.

thanks so much guys. Just curious though, were they able to pull up the odometer millage even though the display is scrambled?

In my case the display got more and more faded until it was blank. They just swap the display and connector cable so the chip logging the miles is not affected and miles stay identical. Call them as they had to get the part in first and I wanted minimal downtime.
