hp and tk are simulated to be the same on the dyno as real world aplications. you can expect 13 to 15% drivetrain loss between crank and whp. mustang dynos will typically show 10hp less on performance cars. I deal with hp tuner software with my guy. everything can be tuned.

I've always been told that you can put a dress on a pig...but its still a pig. So are our rigs. some us enjoy that aspect and several on this board have explored other ideas. All is good depending on your goal. some don't know what the hell they are doing and then just call people names.


I haven't done a awd dyno app before, but usually numbers are hit in 4th gear on the dyno.

and whoever bitched about my vette, it would easily swap into the rover. But why would you want 500 plus rwhp in a rover. 250 would be fine, but thanks for your input.

Shane....very sorry for (apparently) offending you. In my frustration at seeing another interesting thread interupted by some bizaar comparisons .....I just added to the pile.

...and, I have installed SBC's in several rigs...........
