97 D90 P0130 OBDII Code - 02 Sensor

I have a 1997 D90 and I am getting the code with my OBDII tool:
P0130 - 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (bank 1 sensor 1)
Does anyone know where this is located? I purchased manuals and it looks like, from the pictures, that is is under the car up near the bottom of the engine?
Should I also purchase other 02 sensor's on the "Circuit" rather than chase my tail?
I am new to this emissions stuff.
Thanks,
Rob

Bank 1: driver side
Sensor 1: closest to the engine

You have two sensors per cat: one just before the cat and one just after the cat.
You are welcome to buy parts, but the very first I'd do is unplug the sensor, check that the plug is in good shape and not oxidize. If it looks good, then swap it with the sensor in the back of the cat and see if the fault moves with the sensor.

Report back with what you find.

Got it. Removed , cleaned, repositioned...and reinstalled old O2 Sensor. Nothing changed. Then...I went to my local NAPA and got a new OEM sensor which I installed. Problem solved!
I suspect now...the other sensors will slowly give up the ghost.
We'll see. My OBDII reader just paid for itself. I also bought a GoLink OBDII app. for my iPhone. I checked it against my Innovate unit...nice. Both in sync.
Thanks!

Rob,

Do you have a SW or ST? What color? Where did it come from?

It has an ECR installed 4.6 Liter.
We are really enjoying the truck.

Ah, so you got that truck. He never PM'd/responded back, even though we're O'Neills and I had someone interested in it. At least you had better communication with him than the rest of us!
