95 D90 oil lines

The first set of adaptors for the later style radiator (fixed fittting type) are done and installed on my 90. We'll test them for a few days to make sure there are no issues. This will allow the guys with 95 D90s and those with 1993-1994 Defender that have replaced radiators to run set ups like our (and other compnaies too) stainless oil cooler lines.

Sorry, 1997 guys... no solution there yet.

Very cool, I might have to get a pair. What is the male threading on them?

(Edit: LOL nevermind, just saw the -8AN stamping on the annodized fitting. )

8 AN

Thats an Earls 8AN fitting on one in the picture. They use the Rover O ring to mate to the radiator just like the factory oil line.
We thought about just making a different radiator with better fittings built in, but that really started to limit peoples options.

Actually that stamping just says "EARL'S" but you nailed it anyway.

Very Cool.

I'll have to pick a set up when you've got all the kinks worked out.

Keep us posted Mike.

Nope. But I'm pretty sure its the electronic ignition. I'm going to replace it and hopefully she'll start up.

They work great, just not enough time to make more on the lathe lately. I need a clone.

Question to anyone:

Where would I go to have something like this done (these adaptors)? Also, would I need to take them the lines that came off for sizing? What exactly would I say to them? (Spell it out very clearly for me!)

It seems a waste to not use those Rover Accessories lines I got since I dropped almost three bills on them.

I REALLY want to get those adapters. Can they be made locally?

Hang in a little longer. Couple weeks I should be able to get a number of sets made. The first couple of sets I did have now had enough miles on them so that I'm OK with the design.

Sorry, I don't have any way to check that.
Do RRCs have engine fire issues as well?
