'94 tail lights on newer style rear body panel?

Hello:

I did a search and found a few people looking to fit the newer-style, round tail lights on a '94 but not the other way around.

I found a great deal on a new rear 1/4 section of the body-side for the '94ST I'm repairing but it is for the later model years and has the three large round holes for the lamps in it. I'm assuming I could fab-up some sort of plate for the inside where the studs from the '94 lamp comes through but wanted to make sure the large holes would be hidden by the lamp assembly. And that they are not too high or too low relative to the correct location for the square '94 lamps.

As always, advice or experience would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

CARL

I will measure this weekend as I have both a 95 and a 93 tub sitting in the garage.

Ron- thanks, this will help me know for sure. I've got the part on hold until Monday.

Cheers,

CARL

It looks like it will work, but without pulling the lights off the 95 I can't tell 100%.
