94/95 Power Steering Pump Options

Are there any options out there for 94/95 trucks with the Vbelt setup? Nearly every pump I find is at least $300. Meridian Rebuilds them starting at 285 plus the cost to ship it out to CA.

The current pump I got from Tillery has only lasted around 4 years. The OEM pump lasted 15 years and 150K miles.

I have always asked my self the same question and never come up with a real answer...
have you looked at "rock auto"?
otherwise used, or new from one of the many rover parts suppliers on the forum.

They are pretty solid typically---mine lasted nearly 20 years. I pulled one from an RRC in the pull your parts place for something like $20.

I just had to call Meridian and order another box from them as the last one I got from them didn't even last a year. They have a year warranty, but the second steering box they are giving me doesn't have a warranty.

I've heard great things from them but this was by far the worst steering box i've ever had. I went through 4 gallons of fluid in a weekend.

Which makes me hesitant on sending out my Steering Pump. I'd think for $300 bones there should be a better option. My second pump was one I got from Tillery. I ordered it in 2012 for $300 and it whines like a cat in a washing machine. Its probably a britpart.

I know you can convert the serpentine belts to a GM pump. At least if it goes its a much cheaper replacement.

does the v belt pump pulley have the same bore diameter and 3 bolt pattern as the serpentine pulley?
