88/90 hybrid

Hey I just got my hands on a '73 series 88 and a D-90 chassis. Thinking I'd like to mate the two and Im wondering how different the two are. Do the outriggers have to be moved? Obviously the engine mounts are different (considerring a 2.8 TGVvs turner high output) but what about the transmission? Thinking about LT77 on series t case.

Any ideas?

The tub and top and top sides are unique to the 90. Its alot easier if you use a 90 tub and top and windshield. The rest of the 88 body will work for you. Either that or shorten the frame to work with the 88 tub. You can use just about any coiler axles, but I would look for later RRC, disco or D90 24 splines.
