'85 90 2.5na exhausts

Morning. Anyone know of the '86-'87 rear exhausts are a simple plug-n-play fit on an early 90?

I am looking to fit mudflaps (as a courtesy...and I was given an NTO set) but can't w/ my current stock exhaust as it exits under the cross-member, while the later exhausts exit the corner which should work w/ the cutout in the flap. This is a nice to have, and not a priority if it requires heroics.

Specifically, are the rear silencer and exhaust pipe p/n's ntc1149 & ntc1150 a direct swap for the earlier pipe and silencer NRC8889? Seems like they should simply swap w/ the correct rear hangar, but am looking for any thoughts/experience. Thanks.
