7 months of storage

About to return from Afghanistan and get my 90 after 7 months of stting up. Any ideas on what fuids I should change, Im going to be driving a few thousand miles just after returning (cant wait to see what pops up on that trip) and I want to make sure I dont miss anything. Also, are there any issues with tires being out of round after sitting like that for so long?

Thanks,

Keith

Keith,

So, you are picking it up from DJ? Or is it stored at your house? If it was actively driven 7-8 months ago, I would check all the fluids, and change the oil, grease the u-joints, check radiator and brake fluid.

Pack a bunch of tools, relays, fuses and fluids. Your tires will be fine once you get a few miles on them.

Even if just sitting for that long it should be fine IMO. Just do normal fluid level checks and maintenance and pack appropriately like Scott says. Maybe some dry gas in the fuel tank to be safe, but you'll know if you have moisture problems.

I'll gladly second that.

If you are in Houston and need a hand feel free to get a hold of me.
