Question 68L of Diesel in my TD5 110?

My fuel gauge is broken on a 99 Defender 110 3dr TD5 i just purchased.
I filled the tank after 630km. It took 68 Litres.
I thought the tank was smaller than that. The plastic tank has a Land Rover stamp.
What is the actual capacity?

Thanks

From the 2000 owner's manual, 75 liters usable. AFACT, it is listed as an 18 gallon (81.7 liter) tank.

You'd think he'd have one of those by now. Jeff isn't this like your 15th td5?

Thanks guys!
I do have a Manual :P
But I won't be home for a few days and just had to know
This whole time I thought the tanks were 65L.
And yes I have had a few Defenders now! This one is ready for safari... Two winches, lift, air lockers, racks etc. I have it set up as a camper right now for surf trips to Vancouver island and interior back roads.

Are the 90's a smaller tank? I know the sway bar lines up different.
