5-Bar treadplate

Anyone have a US source (i.e. they actually can get it) for 5-bar alum treadplate? 1/8" (er, 3mm?) or thicker. Thanks.

I would be interested in a source also. A friend found a sheet in Florida., but my attempts in Dallas have been fruitless. I suspect it will be 2 mm and 3 mm.

5-Bar

Alreco Aluminum Surplus Supply in Henderson Colorada (303-287-7210) had it about 4 years ago for $150 for a 4/8 sheet of 1/8". Probably higher now if they still have it.

Did you used to live in Colorada? It amazes me the number of people from other places that know of Alreco. I have never seen such an assortment of strange shapes and sizes of aluminum scrap. I wouldn't be surprised if that guy started crash landing 747's in his back pasture so he could cut them up for scrap! Only in Henderson.....

I believe Bucky once posted that his brother has a metal cutting or fabricating business in the Denver area, and that he may be able to get a hold of 5 bar.
