What can I expect (or should I expect) for 40-45k?

Adam, its probably easier to help estimate what range you can expect to pay if you can tell us how you plan to use the vehicle and what characteristics are the most important to you.

Tomaco - there are two dogs on there!

Clay -- that's a good point but I'm so green that I'm not even sure. I thought I'd ask the seasoned vets what to expect in this range.

As Doug mentions you should be able to find a nice truck in that Range. As with anything you need to do your homework so you get what you are paying for.
