4.6L Pistons and rods

Planning on picking up used pistons/rods. It supposedly has about 60,000 miles on them. Just from looking at it, should I stay away fromt them or do you think they are ok? Is there anything that I should be aware of or asking the seller regarding them?

Thanks in advance!

Where's the crank that goes with them? Information on what happended to the crank may tell you about what to look for with the rods. I believe new rings are around $300 - just FYI. Mark

Thanks Mark, I've requested a picture of the crank. I won't be using his crank and I appreciate the heads up on the ring cost.
