Hopefully not too much of a sidebar to this thread, but I have a related question. Can the megasquirt ECU provide everything a GEMS based engine needs to run properly if you took a GEMS based engine and put it into an older vehicle with no ecu, and a megasquirt ecu. I assume yes, but just wanted to make sure I understood the functionality it provides (or conversely what the engine needs).
