33" spare

Can I use the factory spare tire carrier with a 33" spare tire? I got the impression it can be done if I get a spacer. What kind of spacer and where do I get it? Can I leave the center mounted brake light or does it have to be removed or lengthened?

It's just for a 33" tire. I have no visions of a 35" in which case I believe you really have to look at mantec and an extended or removed brake light.

No problem with a 33 on my ST factory carrier. I didn't need a spacer and the center brake light cleared fine.
