300tdi SS oil lines?

Posting for a friend....
Is there any place that makes up SS oil lines for 300tdi's? I guess the fittings are weird or something??

It wouldn't surprise me if PT couldn't put something together for you Brett.

I think this guy has already been in contact with him and most of the options involve reusing fittings. With all the 300tdi's not running around the states i just figured there'd be some manufactured option for new SS lines.

Let us know if Eric makes them; even though these lines route away from the engine on a 300 tdi (I think, it's been 2 years since I've seen mine) it's still not a good way to lose oil.

on the 300Tdi those lines are on the other side of the mufler/turbo/manifold and they don't have to support huge pressure so I think you should be ok with regular genuine lines.

Cheers

He is correct, the lines are well protected and no where near the exhaust. OEM lines are more than adequate and we always have them in stock...

^^^^what he said.
SS lines are a bit of overkill for this.

BTW, is "I'm posting for a friend" going to be the new standard around here when asking about 200/300TDis?

.......Soooo, I've got this "friend" who wants to get rid of a body and he wants to know the best method for this.........

Given the issue with a tdi is vibration not heat degradation,I'd want flexible hydraulic line not steel jacketed. A lot of a 300's oil lines is rigid steel tube and the flex part is short and meant to allow the engines shake.
Just my .02

Don't let Brett worry you...the most he knows about seizures is the ones his cats have when he plays with them.
