300 tdi hand throttle

I was gifted a 300tdi hand throttle - part # ANR1339. It came just the cable in the bag. I've followed it through the firewall and can't figure how / where it connects. Anyone fitted one of these?

Thanks again,
Henry

You need several brackets, plates and levers to make it work. ANR1339 is for LHD diesel models, I don´t know in which model are you planning to use it.

Ah - thanks for the reply. I have a rhd 300tdi. I have the bracket at the steeringwheel - anyone have a parts diagram of how it all goes together? Does it connect direct to the injection pump - or somewhere on the throttle pedal. Maybe I can piece something together...

Just get the proper parts, it works much better. You can find parts catalogs online to download.

Looking for a photo of the throttle side of a 300Tdi hand throttle assembly. Curious how the bracket mates up with the primary throttle assembly. Any of you guys with a LR hand throttle installed on your 300Tdi, can you help me out?

I believe that these are the part numbers that I'll need. I have the cable and interior bracket already, left over from my 2.5NA.

ANR6373 - Bracket
FS106161 - M6 x 16 hex cap
WC106041L - M6 washer
NTC8544 - Bushing
FS108251L - M8x25 flanged head hex cap
79121 - Clip, cable

I think everything on the bottom half of this diagram is for the in-cabin components..

Yeah, I'd like to stay factory on this one. I actually already have the cable assembly and associated interior bracket and cover pieces. It's just the parts that tie in with the throttle assembly on the IP that I need. My IP is set up for foot throttle only.

I fitted one to my old 300 years back. I think in the end I ended up making an "arm" to bolt onto the FIP original "arm", and attachd the hand throttle cable to that.

Only because the hand kit I had was for the old 2.5 NA diesel (think I borrowed it from tech stores when I was serving...) so made it fit in true REME style.

Had a bugger of a time getting the picture to upload, it was the cable bracket that bolts to the IP bracket you where asking about? you see the silver upright bracket in the foreground. One bolt and there is a tab on the cable bracket that fits the IP bracket. make sense?

I was just thinking you got a 300Tdi mine is a 200 don't know if the IP braket is the same?

Thanks, guys. Carl, that pic is exactly what I needed. ;-)

George has the parts on order for me.

I love the hand throttle and can't wait to get a York compressor set up, too.
