3.5 differentiation from the 3.9

Hey gang, Im new wassup !

Glad to finally be a 110 owner (talk about jumping thru hoops)
My truck came off the line w a 3.5 carbbed engine but is sporting a 3.9 - I have a technical question as I know only a little about these aluminum Buick v8's.

Is it possible that a 3.5 v8 be dressed up and converted to EFI w the upper components of the 3.9 slapped onto the 3.5 block?

Thanks all!

Al

short answer yes, down falls...time consuming, possible huge cost, definitively labor intensive.
find list of components in the factory manual.....long list.
