Seem to be back ordered till forever.. What other mud tire's are there? I don't want to run the 285 due to my desire to put in the aux tank, but may have to..cooper does not do the sst pro in 255.. Maxis tires I'm Leary of.. Any other options?

I'd do 285's before going to another brand. Everything seems to have too much sidewall crap these days.

Toyo Open Country M/T - I have these and like them.

Cooper Discoverer ST - Not quite as aggressive, but a good tire.

I've got the 255/85 16 in the Cooper ST Maxx on my 110. It's an AT, not a mudder, but I've been pretty happy with them so far. I have not had them in deep mud, but they're pretty reasonable in snow and the milder off roading I've done so far.

285/75-16 is also on national back order btw.. No eta Checked a couple of places (tire rack, 4wheel parts, discount tire) Kinda screwed at the moment.

I have K/O on it now, and this was a second set so no need for another a/t tire

AFAIK Maxxis is a reputable tire company, why not give them a try?

I was going to do the bighorn 762 whatever, but the KM2s came out at a nice cheap price right around the time that the ebay deal on the bighorns ended.

I don't think it's done, I think it's a niche market, so we wait..

If the maxis was way cheaper than the bfg id be tempted maybe.
But every time I comprise I end up buy shit twice.

the Maxxis ones were 186 each when I was looking. At $250 they are hardly worth trying out.

Got this a couple of days ago on the 255/85-16 BFG
. However, we do show that production has started and we are manufacturing enough tires to cover all backorders. You should be able to order tires from your local tire dealer within 2 weeks or less. Tires are starting to ship from our warehouses.

Interco Super Swamper Trxus MT Radial $212.60 each or the Toyo Open Country MT at $289.09 both in 255/85R16 at National Tire and Wheel online. The Toyos are a really nice tire but at that price they oughta be.

That's good news. I'm hoping to have mine by the end of March.
