200tdi VDO gauge #'s

I've gotten various numbers for gauges (VDO) and Senders. Some confusion with V8, 300tdi, etc.
I was wondering if anyone has Part numbers for the 200tdi gauges?

H20 Temp:
H20 sender:

Tach:

Fuel:

Boost:
Boost Hose Kit:

Volt:
Voltmeter Extras Needed:

Oil Pressure:
Oil Presure Sender:

Exhaust Gas:
EG kit #:

I have found many numbers by searching, but didn't want to cloud the issue!

Tom,

Is there a reason that you can not use the stock gauges?

Just wondering since our truck are almost the same and I will be adding a 200TDI when it arrives.

Tom, I just did all that to the Brewers truck with a 200 in it. All VDO http://www.egauges.com/vdo_grou.asp?Series=Vision Very easy to figure out what you need on this site.

Don't have the part #'s in front of me. The only bit that was at all challenging was adapting the coolant sensor for which I had to make my own part (modified stock sensor).

Disco or Defender TDI?

For the Defender 200TDI.

Water Temperature sender: 323-026 (5/8-18 UNF) is a direct fit. Gauge is 310-105 (Imperial) or 310-010-002K (metric)

Boost is 150-101 (15 psi) or 150-104 (30 psi)

Fuel is 301-105

Tach is 333-156 (4000 rpm) or 333-158 (6000 rpm). 4000 rpm is fine....

The rest I use other gauges.... IMO, the best choice is the Madman gauge kit for EGT, oil pressure, coolant level, voltage, http://www.madman.co.za/

Does the Boost need a Hose Kit?

You need to figure out plumbing one way or the other.... Note there is no port on a 200TDI, so you need to drill and tap the intake manifold. The 150-851 on egauges should be fine.

Tom,

You didn't say what you want VDO Vision or Cockpit series. Different part numbers. I used Visions and love em

Just an FYI. Disco 200Tdi engines do not have 5/8" UNF temp senders in them. I actually found and purchased a 5/8" UNF Male to 1/8" NPT Female adapter, which didn't work. Don't know what the stock sender is, but it's pretty fine threads. I've given up on an adapter and am going to drill and tap my stock sender to 1/8" NPT.

On the Disco 200tdi temp sender, I found the thread size was 16M with 1m pitch, very fine. I too tried the 5/8 adapter with the vdo 1/8 NPT sender. It doesn't work. I drilled out my sender and tapped it for the 1/8 NPT sender. It worked great and I used the little rubber o-ring in the old sender as a gasket for the vdo sender.
