200TDI valve cover leak

I've got a leak coming from the joint between the valve cover and the head. I've replaced the gasket and that didn't get it, then the half moon rubber seals at front and back, but it's still leaking. It appears that the valve cover is being pressurized, because I when I increase engine rps I can watch the leak grow. Would a clogged breather cause this? It's making a mess of the whole engine so would like to get it fixed.
