200tdi timing belt

I am about to get a 200tdi and want to change the timing belt. My question is do I go with a genuine belt or an aftermarket?
Thanks
Abe

I'd say genuine, only because it's a bit of a PIA. And a lot of aftermarket stuff I have bought sucks.

Go with a complete kit... tensioner, gaskets etc.

I went all genuine parts...hard to believe I did the timing belt 2 years ago now. Not sure I have put more than a thousand miles on the truck since then...

The truck is my DD. I just wanted some input to see if the fail rate was higher with one or the other. I am pretty good with the upkeep of things when it comes to my truck so I shouldn't be going over the service interval.
