200tdi silicone hose from air box to turbo?

Has anyone tried a silicon hose in place of the factory hose that runs from air filter to turbo?

Thought?
Thanks

Be careful that the hose is stiff enough not to collapse when you mash on the go pedal. I think most aftermarket silicone hoses are quite squishy in this regard. I'd look for wire reinforced hose.

You still have the hose?
Did you notice a difference one way or the other?

Just make sure it is wire reinforced silicone. Back in the day I sold some Samco made products to the miltary that would work well for this. It is under their universal products. http://samcosport.com/

There is also this which looks pretty (aside from their logo on it) but not sure if it is any good

Those aluminum pipes are nice. Once the stock steel ones heat soak they stay hot for a long time where the aluminum dissipates quickly.

Not really no, but it was nice looking. Silicone hose and aluminum tubes like listed above .

Now I just have the cone right on the turbo
