200tdi raised air intake

I finally got all of my parts together to put a raised air intake on my truck. The front exo cage on the Tithonus causes some interference with the fender flange part of the snorkel. How would you deal with the issue? Pic 1 is the correct location and shows the interference. Pic 2 is the flange rotated forward 3 is the same as 2 but shows the upper part of the flange. My question is with the truck being rhd and the heater core being in the way do i have enough room to rotate the inner fender part of the vent?

Get the roll cage flange

It arcs out to clear the bar.

A safety devices cage interfered with mine. I cut the tube off the plate and re-welded it at a slightly different angle where it didn't connect the cage anymore. The rubber hose took up any of the change in the angle. The only problem was getting the plastic coating off the pipe.

I'm with the Captain, take what you have, cut, weld and refinish.
