200tdi Oil Pressure Switch trip point

Does anyone know what pressure the stock switch opens at? I replaced mine when I added the oil pressure gauge with one I had on the shelf of an unknown pressure rating. Would like to order the correct part. And I cant use the stock part. The threads are all 1/8"npt now.
Thanks

I am not 100% sure what you're asking, but I think it has to do with the low oil pressure warning light.

The exact operating pressure typically is 5 - 7 PSI.
If you now have 1/8"npt, go to any domestic auto supply and order a idiot light sender for a 1978 - 1983 Chevy Monza. Screw it in and connect the single wire.

Thats what Im asking... Thanks. The switch I put in closes at about 10-12 so at a warm idle the light is flickering.

This link: http://www.autopartoo.com/oem/unipart/PRC6387GEQ.html says 0.5 bar, 7.5 psi.

Quick question: Based on that small schematic is this switch normally open or normally closed when the oil system is pressurized? I'm guessing its normally closed without pressure, completing the circuit to the light. Just checking.

switch is normally closed and opens on a rise in pressure.
