Christmas in January.
After waiting 2 months yesterday 2 of the the Webasto Diavia under dash kits arrived for the LHD Defender Style vehicles.
This will also fit in a Series LHD III, but we haven't worked out anything for that vehicle.
For now am concentrating on the 200TDI.
The kit we installed in our red LHD 110 worked so well that after the interior cooled off, we ran it on the lower settings.
The unit never froze, but would freeze the humidity in the air and look like it was blowing smoke.
We are building our own under hood kit to fit this under dash kit.
This mount will allow you to mount a 140AMP, 200AMP, or 250AMP alternator next to the AC Compressor.
I bought the under dash parts from the group buy here and pieced together the other parts from various sources.
The compressor mount, mount for the alternator, mounts for the condenser, mount for the dryer, and refrigerant lines are all custom made parts.
Not shown are the AC compressor mount and the new crankshaft pulley.
I'll show those as soon as the mount is finished being fabbed and the pulley arrives from UK.
