200tdi Exhaust options

My exhaust finally gave up and the back half fell off.

Are there any pre-made solutions? Or is it best just to have it done at a exhaust shop? Anything to note if it is done locally?

Having custom bent systems eg Lou's custom exhaust ) is one option.
But buying off the shelf ready made is my preference.

I just did lue's $179.00 for a 3" straight pipe in steel. Whole thing bent exactly as I wanted while I watched. That price was manifold to bumper, 300TDI NAS 90.

I just had a local shop do a 2.5" straight pipe on mine. Wasn't much $ if I remember correctly.

Is there any benefit from upsizing from the stock sizing?

Not really. Stock 200TDI is 2.25" and 300TDI is 2.5", IIRC. 2.5" is a ton of exhaust for these engines.

I have a side exit that comes directly from the downpipe. It's loud and dirty but was about $20.

Not a good choice if you are doing any serious off road
