200tdi electric fan switch

I need a switch that will thread into the thermostat cover and turn the electric fan on and off. I have a bunch, one runs the fan all the time and the other seems to never turn on.(Even held a lighter near the bottom of it) they both are marked 98 celcius. Does anyone know what temperture it should come on at?
I also have one that says 91 celcius.
The 98 degree one(209F) didn't come on the other day so I'm a bit concerned. It was the first time the truck went above 210F.

I bet you could get some kind of thermoswitch at Autozone, or advanced auto parts (or the like). In the past, I've bought generic electric fan setups for other builds, and they always have one of those things included. Often, they will stick through the cooling fins of the radiator, so installation is generic. Though I don't know the spec of when a Tdi clutch kicks in, most vehicles with electric fans kick on somewhere in the vicinity of 190. Often, fans will have a 2 stage switch (high and low), and the faster speed will kick in at about 210. Again non-rover specific info. Good luck!

I ordered PRC3505 which opens at 100C(212F) and closes at 94C(201F) its shown for Discovery A/C fans but am hopeful it will work with the 200tdi. Is 212F too high? I've only gotten to that temp once when I pulled off the highway when it was 90F
and I left the truck running to fix something for a few minutes. Cooled right down as soon as I started moving.

Be sure to post how well it works. I'm going the electric fan route with my 200tdi as well. I think I'll also incorporate a manual override so I can control mine via a toggle as well.

My fan finally kicked on Yesterday, first time I have heard it in a year. I was sitting on the side of the road eating lunch and it kicked on,. ran for a few, saw the gauge drop, kicked off, Very excited.
The switch I wound up using was a VW switch that had a lower turn on Temp (195 F range), it was a tiny bit smaller thread size but it tightened up and doesn't leak.

I had ordered PRC3505, but when it came it was stamped with a higher temp than I was expecting 102C I think.
