very nice.... notice how it's in Mexico though... probably not worth anything near the asking price there either

True, but if you had unlimited funds those seats are very nice and something like $5000 each, I kid you not... at least that's what I was told while visiting Nene Overland a couple months ago.

In the end though I really think the right approach is to buy an old one, then buy all new swap-in parts and rebuild it. This seems to be what my 92 rebuild is turning into, I know I'll be happy with the end product and that it'll be better than anything the factory has ever shipped, but damn is it turning into a lot of work. The 2nd one will be a whole lot easier

I agree.
I hate those headlight surrounds.

I do not check PMs. Call or email if you need something.

ECR is not a parts source. We are not in the mail order business.

"Impossible to title in the US right?"

No, not at all. Impossible to legally own in the US, yes.

http://recaro.com/index.php?id=3738&region=3&L=2

w/o airbags and from recaro they are $1500 or so from Speedware motorsports.

Well, 5000 quid from Land Rover isn't out of the question then , so they're only twice the cost of getting the Defender Elite seats from Exmoor Trim... and that's in vinyl vs Outlast and without a heater or lumbar adjustment. I tried the elite seats, they're comfortable but don't look to have the build quality of these. Still likely what I'll be putting in when I get to that point.

I think LR has a world-wide warranty program. Probably just means the seller isnt warrantying it.
