Roving down the highway this morning and saw my battery light blinking confused drove to my exit and then I heard fluid spraying everywhere and I thought I blew a radiator hose. My temp was fine according to my gauge, pulled over looked under the hood and the radiator fluid was every where, but could not locate a source. Let it sit for a few checked the level, looked a little lower than normal but nothing to freak over. Jumped back in cracked up drove to work. Once there took a better look, could not find a source of where it was coming from, but it was clearly all over everything. Left the truck running for a little to see if I could find a small leak somewhere nothing. Do these TDI's has a purge valve that sprays everywhere? Or am I goin crazy?

my guess is your water pump is leaking...leaking onto the pulley and being slung everywhere and causing the belt to slip causing the battery light to come on...gonna have to pressure test it..may have to pressure test it cold AND hot to find it..

Makes sense, if the water pump was leaking is it usually continuos or know to be intermittent? Makes sense bc both wheel wells have identical water marks and the belt is clearly wet as well.
