2 inch flex hose help

Hi everyone,

Do you know where I can find a 2 inch aluminum flex hose like this one in the pic? I have looked at all the home improvement places, ebay, and auto places but can only find the 4 inch. Thanks!

Does it need to be aluminum? You can probably find the HD stuff they use for brake ducts. I forget if it is nylon or what, but it is steel reinforced to keep its shape in bends. I forget where, but I've seen it for sale by the foot before.

Lite aluminum would be easier. I tried the steel exhaust flex hose and it will not bend enough for me to attach it to the other inlet. I have to make an S turn.

flex tube

That looks exactly like the VW Beetle heater hose tubes that go from the doghouse fan shroud down to the heater inlet around the exhaust system. If that is the case which I believe they are 2 inch also, I think you can pick them up almost anywhere.

Try heating and a/c suppliers, they should have something that would work.
