I'm sure this has been addressed but I am on mobile and have trouble searching the site.
I recently had a new clutch installed, and the timing belt and pulley changed.
90% of the time I have the usual vibration from the engine that doesn't rattle the glass or make the rear view mirror shake so much I can't see what's behind me. I have put around 200 miles on since the clutch/timing job and it was running more smoothly than I remember. I had the fuel filter changed about 500 miles ago, and it has new oil in it.
For the last two days it's been vibrating considerably while idling. Slightly pressing on the pedal makes it run smoothly. I also noticed when it's idling roughly the temperature doesn't reach the halfway mark like it normally does. It doesn't seem like there is any loss of power, bit then again when you only have 68hp...
Any thoughts what might be causing this? This happened a few times last summer but seemed to sort itself out over time. Bad tank of diesel?
Thanks for your help. It doesn't seem serious but I don't want to drive it around much if it's an indicator of a bigger problem. (The engine mounts appear to be in good shape).
