19J Fuel Pump Leak

I am experiencing fuel leaking from my 1986 ex-MOD Defender 90 (19J), seemingly at the fitting between the 4th fuel injector pipe and the fuel pump. Prior to the current issue, I replaced this fuel pump line when the pipe experienced a crack part way down the line. The new line (Brit Part) worked well for two months until it started to slowly drip, seemingly at the fitting into the fuel pump. I then replaced the line with the OEM part from LR Direct. Two weeks later, the drip returned. It gets worse over time, dripping at a higher rate, eventually getting to the point where the 4th cylinder no longer fires due to insufficient fuel pressure/injection. The threads and flange on both the fuel pump and fuel injector line appear clean and in good condition.

Any ideas why this is leaking and what I can do to fix it? I appreciate any help!

The cleaner connection in the photos is the troubled fitting.

I was having what sounds like a similar problem and needed a quick fix. The first thing I thought of was trying plumbers tape. Funny enough it worked and has held for over a year now. Only regret is its a ghetto fix I'm not proud of.

Any updates on the success of this solution, plumbers tape?

I have a similar leak at the connection between the body of the injection pump and the take offs of the hard injector lines.
