Does anyone know the approximate operating temp of a 19j turbo diesel?

No, but perhaps a few hints.
Since there isn't an intercooler, when pushed too hard the operating temp is over heating.
There is no hard and fast average rule, but between 190 deg F and 210 deg F.
Your question is like asking what is the temperature at such and such a place.
The answer introduces questions, like during the winter, fall, or summer, day or night, and so on.

They should have 190 F thermostat, so it should run around there or so.

Thumbs up 19j

Thanks for the answers. It's running normal. I put a combo digital and analog temp gauge in as well as a EGT. The truck went to 205f temp and 450f on EGT on it's maiden voyage on a 106f day. I did put an intercooler and a electric cooling fan. So all is well.
