Angry 1997 Defender 90

1997 Defender 90. In the morning when i start engine it starts fine and idles well, as soon as i drive off..good power..then when i come to a stop, the idle drops quickly below and engine dies. Start up engine again drive away, come to another stop and dies again. I recently had the idle adjusted, and no warning lights are on on the dash. What is going on with the engine?

JS..thanks for info. That was all done, the cleaning of the air bypass, etc., but the truck is still conking out when i come to a stop. Even when the engine is warm, i am driving, there is traffic, i come to a stop, the idle goes down and then car shuts off. I have no problem starting it up again and the engine has good power when my foot is on gas, but once truck is slowed down the idle dropps and then truck shuts off. What should i do?

If you've only cleaned, then try replacing it.

Wheel Arch Eyebrows (matte black)D90

Have a 1997 Defender 90.
I am looking for a Right Front and a Left Front wheel arch eyebrows, but must be in
matte black. New or used. If used, must be in good condition.

If you know of anyone who is selling or there's a place to buy, please let me know.

Thanks

He says its for a 97. Different location. It's on the Throttle body and its a different one to the earlier ones. There is still a cross to a cheaper one but I can't find where I have it listed at the moment.

HTH

Ian

Edit - AC-151 is stuck in my mind as the 97 Cross Part # but that's just off the top of my head.
