1995 D90 questions?

I am looking at a 95 D90 soft top. It has zero rust and in pristine condition. First is a soft top safe for my 7 year old with a bench seat and second what is a fair price. It does have 80K original miles. I have been thru it and so has my mechanic and we can find no issues. Just want some feedback.

Safe? Depends on what you are doing... The 95 has more protection than your 110. Do you feel safe in it? I drive my kids around in mine all the time, on and off road.

Fair price is 18K to 35K, condition is everything. How is the cage?

The cage is in great condition. The truck on a 10 scale is a 8. They guy had about $15 k in restoration done to it about two years ago. I will probably buy it but just wanted to mostly check on saftey for my son. I know the 110 had issues so I installed puma seats for saftey. Thanks for the help.

Just think of the cars we grew up with...

The seats are fine. When it is just me and one of my kids, I have them ride up front.

The cage is a one use cage, so it will protect you in a roll over, where the 110 has no support or roll bars/cage.

Drive responsibly, and you will be fine.

Yellow gets the most money. As far as safe, with a full cage the roof wont make a bit of difference and short of things like not having crumple zones, the back of a soft top D90 looks pretty safe to me. I can't see how anything would get close to a child seat in it short of a horrific crash.

Back in the day yellow was comparable to black, but now it's black.

Shawn, I know the truck you are going to buy... It's a 94, and it is pretty nice. Buy it.

Everyone is so secretive anymore.

I want an honest opinion - here's no information or pics. .

Congrats though.

I will be looking for a rack to put on it to carry whitewater kayaks. Any suggestions?
