1995 D90 NAS SW Rear seat options

In my meager 2 weeks experience of scouring everything Defender I have not seen these seats before. I have checked the history info at ECR and they are not mentioned. Also, is the loose fitting upholstery on the rear door panel typical?

Kevin,

Use this link:

https://cse.google.com/cse/publicurl...95:8zpbxe3x-t4

Search for "rear seat options"

Bookmark the link as a general D90 Source search tool. Use it in combination with the built-in SEARCH feature on the forum. They each have their uses.

Enjoy!

-Neil

seats are called fold and locks ( some folks like them ) and yes the oem door panels sucked. The MUD UK version is much better.

Thanks, I have used the Custom Google search before. I don't know why I fight with vBulletin with which I do have some 'sperience.

Ultimately my question is were they offered from the Factory in 1995? This particular truck is setup like a '97 LE, diamond plate all around etc. Not finding any '95s like it and I'm trying to confirm its authenticity.

no lock and folds were a later development. Not sure if Exmoor came out with them first or LR.

Load Area Seats : LOCK AND FOLD - Left Hand

You need to be very small to sit in one.

Are you trying to buy the truck? Do you have the VIN? There's a VIN decoder on here somewhere, or post the VIN and count to 10 - someone will decode it for you.

Diamond plate or 5-bar? Are you afraid that it's not a NAS?

I don't really care about using them at this point. I guess maybe grandkids someday, just hoping for original stuff...

------ Follow up post added June 10th, 2016 02:42 PM ------

I've been using this site for VIN Decode, best I could find so far: Clifton Scientific Text Services, the Netherlands

Seems accurate with NAS Trucks, Older ones, not so much.

I got myself all wrapped around the proverbial axle when I thought I saw no Alpine White SWs in '95. Head was spinning, and then I realized I messed up reading a chart on ECR. Some decent info here: Defender 90s

Thanks Doug and Neil.

Edit: 5-Bar

I'm sure you could find someone who is willing to trade their 4 jump seats for 2 lock and folds.

Just a thought.
