The purpose of that inline black box is to filter the voltage. Something to consider if removing.

After bowing 3 modules, I got one and haven't blown any. How did I blow 3 modules? No friggin clue. If truck isn't running, I check that first and then double check the wiring.

I blew two WITH it in or at least Mallory's credit card diagnostic check showed they'd failed. Also found out that the wiring INTO the filter box wasn't secured properly which was why I suggested he remove it just to confirm it's not the culprit.

Good evening Defender family
Just want to post update on my problem
The truck is running now!
After i replaced distributor ignition module - grounded it to the engine block

total is i replaced ignition module
ignition coil and removed ballast resistor

chicklets i ordered new one but they are slightly different , i don't even know should i use them or not- since truck is running now

I'm not sure it could have been your ignition module since your truck would run for a bit and then shut off. I thought they were usually a working or not working thing especially since the Mallory one is infrared or whatever.
