1993 NAS 110 gauge removal

Can some please tell me how I can remove the round oil and volt gauges so I can change out the bulbs? Also what type of LED bulb can I use in there?
Thanks for your advice!

From what I know, you have to pull the dash. The retaining screws are inside the vents, pop them out and pull the gray trim.

It isn't too difficult, just be careful to not put too much strain on the grey plastic as you pop it out.

I can't remember exactly what screws and such to pull, but that web site above has some OK pics. I dismantled mine completely... but you probably don't need to do that.

Here is a list of LEDs pasted from another post - the post can be found here: http://www.defendersource.com/forum/...tml#post310321

The part numbers are as ordered from: www.superbrightleds.com

• 2 x VDO Vision Black Speedo: WLED-GHP5 $11.90
• 1 x VDO Vision Black Fuel: WLED-GHP5 $5.95
• 1 x VDO Vision Black Temp WLED-GHP5 $5.95
• 1 x VDO Vision Black Tach: 74-GHP3 $5.95
• 2 x Dome Lights: 3710-WWHP6 $29.90
• 1 x Rear Defroster: 74GHP $2.49
• 1 x Rear Wiper: 74GHP $2.49
• 1 x Rear Wiper Washer: 74GHP $2.49
• 1 x Hazard: 74RHP $2.49
• 1 x Clock: BA7S $1.50
• 1 x Cigar Lighter: 74-GHP3 $3.49
• 1 x Heater Lever: 74GHP $2.49 (74-GHP3 $3.49)
• 1 x Blower Lever: 74GHP $2.49 (74-GHP3 $3.49)
• 15 Panel Lights: various colors of 74HP (haven't gotten to these yet).

I did this on my NAS D110 and worked great. I don't recall the exact size of the Oil and Battery lights but if its the same bulb as the ones listed above then just use the same. Note on the smaller LEDs for the Hazard and washer switches - if you upgrade those - they come in a generic form where the + and - wires are looped around and you need to cut one side off each before you install or you will short the circuit and blow a fuse - you'll see this if you order those bulbs and inspect them before install (atleast they used to ship that way when I ordered mine 2 yrs ago).
