1985 ninety door seal part numbers?

All:

Do the two piece door seals fit an early 90? It appears my (original) seals are one piece, but RN only sells two piece kits (one seal goes up, across & down, the other runs across the bottom). Anyone successfully replaced the seals & if so what was the part number? The RN seals have pins for the bottom part, FWIW.

Thanks

Paul.

There are three. types of bottom seals. The latest ones that attach to the door are the best. The rubber used in the early style that you can buy now is too stiff and does not work well.

You'll find the part numbers here......

http://www.allbrit.de/NAV.cfm?PAGE=338365&SPRACHE=EN

Confirm they are CFE 102981 (used to be ALR 4936) and CFE 102991 (used to be ALR4937)

Update: I found the upper seals, but neither Rovers North nor Atlantic British has the lower seal, which needs to be 33" long. Any idea where I can find a pair?

All:

I bought a pair of BritPart ALR6250 Lower front door seals, but they won't fit.

The AllBrit site only covers '87 on.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Paul.

Paul,

You are moving to the door mounted lower seals? Thoroughly suggest that you do switch over to the later type that don't trap water/rust against the sill. The seal is long enough to fit the door section and may need trimmed.

Brian:

I'm going to Puma doors soon. Currently the seals are mounted to the chassis (not to the door) and appear to 'come out of the floor'. I just emailed you a link to whst I think will fit but I am not confident they will. Do you have seals in stock that will fit with the Puma doors?
