I was once told that if you were running a 35" tire or smaller, to stick with a 15 or 16" rim. Now once you jump to a 37"er you can go to a 17" rim. This was to make sure you have about a 10" sidewall of rubber to help protect the rim when wheeling.....

I have 15x8 rims and 35" tires. I was thinking of bumping to a set of boost rims and 35"s next though..

The 17's look great but did not think they were good with my tire size. Also 350 each is a bit steep..
