150000 miles

Is 150K miles something to be nervous of when looking at a defender??? If well taken care of will they last longer? Or will I be in a situation where major work is needed soon?
That is why it is called a short cut. If it was easy it would just be "the way."

If you think about it...150k would be considered "low milage" of approx 10k per year for any other vehicle. Find out what major work has been done recently and post for opinions.

I just bought one last month with 157k without blinking as they had some major work done and there was pretty much zero rust and it had all of the goodies I would add anyway.

150K means absolutely nothing. All that matters is how it has been maintained. If a truck's basic components have been ignored and neglected then yes, 150K is something concerned about. This is when getting the trucks maintenance history is really important or at least having a knowledgeable LR mechanic taking a good look. Rust is always my main concern with the bulkhead and chassis being my main concern points.
