110 Suspension questions

I have a 1993 D110 that has an air ride suspension kit on it. I do not like the way the controls are mounted on the inside. I was thinking it may be better to just change it over to regular shocks. Is this a good idea or is the adjustable air ride system a plus? It actually has gauges and you can push a button to increase or decrease the air in the system from inside the cab. It also has front and rear gauges to tell you the psi of the system.

Sounds like the Rancho RS9000 system. Can you post pictures of the system? My guess would be that it would be helpful if you are towing or hauling something.

I don't have pics in hand right now, but yes I think that system is a Rancho. Is that a good system? Is it expensive?

Kelly,

Do you have it front and rear or just in the rear ?
Eric Ristons truck has an adjustable air bladder inside the rear springs that is adjustable on the dash.
