110 Radio

I have a stock radio in my 110 and I have the code but I can't figure it out.
I turn the radio on. It says code. I type it in but the screen never says anything but code and it doesn't accept it.

Is there a button I have to hit first or something?

With my 90 I just typed it in and it accepted it.

I have never done this to a 110 radio, but my 90 was the same way. You should just type in the code and it starts working. I would guess that maybe you have the wrong code?

I got it from the dealer but anything is possible. The thing is with most radios when you type the code, it shows on the screen. This radio just says code the whole time.

If it is like the radio in my '95 D-90, there is a 'BNR' (or something similar) button that you can hold down for a few seconds to 'clear' the radio, then renter the code. I've had to do this before. Don't know if that will help or not, but worth a shot?

Sorry it is the 'BND' (Band) button, I was going from memory. Here is a thread about it...

95 is a clarion. You need the reset for the 93 pioneer.

For those interested. I found the required info in the owners manual of all places.
When you restore power to the radio you need to turn the ignition to the on position, and turn the radio on. The radio needs to be powered on for at least one hour before you enter the code. I did exactly that and it worked perfectly.

Now if I could only figure out why my back speakers don't work.
